Dear friends of the Palace,
Plenty of colors, small treasure hunts, and the good old bunny bring joy during Easter up and down the land. And we honor the celebrations in our tradition with an official Palace of Cards Tournament: On Saturday, April 3, 2021, the Easter Tournament is on at 8:30 pm CET. This tournament is another XXL edition with five instead of three series. So, make sure you have enough time for a lovely game night!

Soon it is officially and astronomically spring in the northern hemisphere! Sunbeams, bloomage, and playing cards go together very well, don’t they? Hence, the next official Palace of Cards Tournament comes right in time for our first astronomical spring weekend! On Saturday, March 20, 2021, the Spring Tournament is on at 8:30 pm CET.

The Palace of Cards is all about fun and games under a digital roof. Of course, that includes a dose of contest and competitive spirit, too.

Fair for Everyone

In all that, we care about fair play, equal chances for everyone, and an enjoyable playing atmosphere. We want to ensure that for our entire game community.

That also means taking action against unfair and inappropriate behavior. After all, we want every player, new beginner or advanced, to feel welcome and comfortable with us. Now, as before, we provide adjustable chat features for each player, the ignore feature, the reporting system, and our customer service.

For a harmonic game environment in general, everyone should pull together. To do so, you only need to abide by our terms and conditions, the games’ rules, and act sportsmanlike and friendly towards each another.

If a black sheep appears in that regard, our customer support stands by each of our players. Additionally, you can report a player for different inappropriate behavior using the report button in the respective profile while being at the same table. Apropos: We penalize excessive and fallacious use of the reporting system!

Increasing Measures

To a certain extent, we find it understandable to see some friction, especially among the clubs, since everyone wants to be the best. But there is a line that should not be crossed.

Unfortunately, we recently had to find that successes were obtained with rigorous, unfair behavior in a few cases. Furthermore, our popular chat feature was misused for inappropriate content.

We cannot tolerate such conduct in any way! In this context, we are cracking down stricter on players and clubs as of now.

Collective Responsibility

Every player agreed to our terms and conditions during registration. When they are breached, we must step in! You can brush up here, especially chapters 7, 8, and 9.

In our hands, we mainly have the game community’s regulation on our platform. We took measures and are confident that fun and fair play in the daily game life are setting the tone again. Also, we cooperate with the authorities to pursue legally relevant breaches.

As mentioned at the beginning, every single one of you has the power to create a positive playing experience for everyone with friendliness and fair play. We thank you for your contribution and understanding.

Some games required several play groups: When a group reached maximum players, we created a new one. Places 1 to 3 were established for each play group. A tie within a play group could cause a place to be awarded several times. Which play group you were successful in is noted in your certificate.

A rolling stone gathers no moss. So, we keep rolling, maintaining the supply of official Palace of Cards tournaments! On Saturday, February 6, 2021, the Winter Tournament is on at 8:30 pm CET.

Participation

The Winter Tournament will take place in the following games:

Depending on the game, 200 to 450 players can play per group in every game. When the maximum of players is exceeded, the next group will open automatically. This way, everyone can partake for a bet of merely one Chip! Of course, you will face tenacious opponents. But if you come out on top in your game, appreciation and exclusive prizes await you.

Registration

Sign up for the tournament via the game you want to compete in as of now. To do so, enter your desired game, and continue step by step:

To take part in the tournament, you just need to be online in your game on February 6, 2021, shortly before 8:30 pm CET and enter the tournament in the competition area.

Prizes

There will be exclusive Palace of Cards certificates, numerous Premium days, and a jackpot with up to 10,000 Chips. We lovingly design the certificates exclusively for this occasion! All winners of the places one to three receive one as a PDF:

All winners means several play groups per tournament are possible: If 540 players registered for Sheepshead, we would split the tournament into three groups with a maximum of 200 players each.

As a result, there would be three first places, three second places, and three third places. Each play group has its separate jackpot. We will note in your certificate in which play group you were successful.

The jackpot and the Premium days will be split among the winners per group. Usually, the first place receives 70% of the Chips in the pot and 90 Premium days, the second place 20% and 60 Premium days, and the third place 10% and 30 Premium days.

If two players in the same play group reach the same score, double placements can occur. In this case, the distribution of prizes changes slightly. This is always communicated clearly in our update post on the winners.

You have probably read about our official Palace of Cards tournaments in this blog before. After all, there were eight editions last year! And we already kicked off this year’s tournament season with our New Year’s Tournament 2021.

The official tournaments’ specialty is that you get to compete for your share of an exceptionally large Chips jackpot, contributing a low bet! In addition, we come up with something extra from time to time. There are plenty of participants, so join in!

Registration

After making time for the tournaments, you need to sign up, of course! You can do so in your desired game as of now. Enter your game, and continue step by step:

All you need to do now is be online in your game on the day of the tournament shortly before 8:30 pm CET. This way, you have enough time to enter the tournament on time.

Prizes

As a rule, our official tournaments come with a jackpot with up to 10,000 Chips, numerous Premium days, and exclusive Palace of Cards certificates, lovingly designed exclusively for this occasion, for all winners. Here are all our designs from 2020, for example:

The jackpot and the Premium days are split among the winners of each play group. Usually, the first place receives 70% of the Chips in the pot and 90 Premium days, the second place 20% and 60 Premium days, and the third place 10% and 30 Premium days.

Several play groups per tournament can come up: When the number of registered players exceeds the maximum, another play group will open automatically. As a result of that and even scores within one group, several players can be in the same place. In that case, we will adjust the payout of the jackpot. We give precise information in each blog post concerning the tournament winners.

As stated above, some official tournaments come with something extra:

The Ester Tournament will be an XXL edition. That means there will be five instead of three series – plenty of gaming fun for everyone!
