Dear Friends of the Palace,
Amazon is shutting down its Appstore for Android devices on August 20, 2025. If you use our Palace games on Android via the Amazon Appstore, you will need to take a few steps to continue using your game account in the future.
Find out here what exactly this means, whether you need to do anything to continue playing as usual in the future, and what you can do.
Effects of the Shutdown
Amazon will only operate its Appstore for Android devices until August 20, 2025. This means that we will only be able to provide you with updates to our games on that platform until then.
After that, there would no longer be any new features, bug fixes or security updates for you via the Amazon Appstore. In addition, current subscriptions would not be continued.
Since our games cannot run sustainably and error-free in this way, we will remove them completely from the Amazon Appstore for Android devices on August 20, 2025.
Will This Affect You?
Only if you play our games on Android devices AND have installed them via the Amazon Appstore, you should take steps to continue playing as usual. Otherwise, this shutdown will not affect you.
How to Continue Using Your Game Account
In order to continue playing with the same game account and your game progress, your game account must be secured with an email address and password. If this is already the case, skip the next part and continue reading from the headline Switching Over.
Securing Your Account
If you are currently using an anonymous profile via a mobile device – i.e., only your player ID and your name are entered in your profile in the game under Personal Data – you can secure your profile by clicking on the corresponding button:
Tap Secure, then select the option E-Mail in the next menu. Now enter your e-mail address, set up your password, and confirm your registration.
Your profile is now secured, and you will receive an e-mail confirming this. Optionally, you can now also verify your profile. You can find more information here.

Switching Over
With a secured account, you can log in from any platform with your e-mail address and password, and continue playing exactly where you left off. It’s best to make the switch as soon as possible.
Important: If you have a subscription in any of our games that you are using via the Amazon Appstore for Android, it will expire with the shutdown of the Amazon Appstore for Android. We cannot tell you exactly how Amazon will handle this on a technical level.
We therefore recommend that you switch to one of the alternative platforms as soon as possible, cancel the subscription via the Amazon Appstore and set up a new subscription via the new platform.
To do this, replace our app from the Amazon Appstore with the same app from another source, for example from the Google Play Store. You can also play via the web browser.
Open the new version of your choice, log in with your e-mail address and password. You can then continue as usual with this game account.
